Most of my art tends to lean to the autobiographical side, and when I was a kid, the nickname my dad had for me was “peanut” or sometimes “peanut butter” if he was feeling fancy. It felt appropriate that my practice be named after the moniker used most frequently to refer to me (after my real name of course).
