Mighty Bites Hotel For Whole Grains

Based on a discontinued cereal from Jordan's childhood, Mighty Bites Hotel for Whole Grains is a playful sculptural piece that provides a place to stay for the person-shaped cereal that was Mighty Bites. Jordan anthropomorphizes the cereal pieces by treating them as employees that were laid off after the cereal became discontinued. The sculpture stands at 2.25" x 8.5" x 13" and utilizes velcro patches to remain closed. The design of the box was printed onto vinyl and wrapped over the constructed box while the furniture is made from paper to bring in a childlike craftsmanship element to this piece based on childhood memory and imagination.
